DIV-CATERING (a concept of Div-Collective)

Food is one of our most powerful tools for building culture. It breaks down prejudices, tears down walls and opens up curiosity through our senses. Food unites people, even those who disagree can find common ground by sharing a bowl of food. Div-catering's mission is exactly that: to make people and organizations curious about each other through food. Diversity is ultimately about being empathetically curious about the unknown.

 

This means that our collaborators are completely unique and special players who always prioritize their culture, quality and dignity above everything else!

NEPALESE FOOD FROM MOMO CHHE

NEPALESE LONG COOKED CHICKEN STEW

Whole organic chicken cooked with dill, anise seeds, cumin and other Himalayan spices (Sauf ko saag ra Kukhra ko jhol in Nepali). Here the whole chicken is used and no parts are thrown away. This stew is a classic on cold days in the mountains of Nepal. The dish is served with steamed jasmine rice.

Allergens: lactose (butter), nutmeg.

TIBETAN ORGANIC MUSHROOM AND VEGETABLE STEW

(Tse Sesha in Tibetan). We use seasonal mushrooms from the Mushroom Company and seasonal vegetables. This dish is cooked in a rare Nepalese pepper that gives it an aromatic taste.

The dish is served with steamed Jasmine rice. This dish is vegan.

 

Allergens: Sesame seeds.

These dishes come with Momo Chhe's own homemade chilli sauce made from tomatoes which gives it an extra kick.

Price: NOK 260 per person including 15% VAT.

HOT DISHES FROM THE FAT BURMESE

CHICKEN PALATHA

Pan Fried Crispy Croissant Pancake with Chicken & potato curry. Served with salad. 

 

Allergens: Soya, gluten (in pancake)

NANGYI THOKE

Rice noodles with chicken/tofu in creamy curry, topped with fresh vegetables such as coriander, red onion, lime and spring onion. The chicken can be replaced with fish/shellfish.

 

Allergens: Fish/shellfish, soya (in vegan version).

SHAN KAW SWE

Rice noodles with a tomato-based sauce, seasoned with garlic and chilli, topped with lots of goodies such as mustard leaves, bean sprouts, coriander and peanuts. Pork/oyster mushroom. 

 

Allergens: Fish/shellfish, soya (in vegan version). Mustard seeds.

Price: NOK 260 per person including 15% VAT.

STREET FOOD SANDWICH FROM HUNGRY BIRDS

SYRIAN FALAFEL ROLL

Falafel roll with  crisp and varied vegetables such as lettuce, tomato, cucumber, pickle, corn, pickled pepper.

SYRIAN CHICKEN SHAWARMA ROLL

Chicken shawarma with crispy and varied vegetables such as lettuce, tomato, cucumber, pickle, corn, pickled pepper.

 

The breads used on both rolls are homemade Syrian bread from a local bakery that arrives fresh every day. It is possible to order Ayran drinks from our friends at Hungry birds. Ayran is a traditional drinking yoghurt enjoyed throughout the Middle East.

Deep-fried lentil balls with salty and sweet tamarind dipping sauce.
